I did always wonder about the physics of exploding a nuke in space.

I think if a nuc detonated on outside the ship, you would get the thermal and radioactive effects but without the concussion effects. (no atmosphere, nothing to push against)

I have this on DVD. Pretty good, but a little thin on the science. From our historical perspective, it seems incredible that they were doing this.
