First of all, is your wife OK?
Second, is she prone to accidents? If so, are they a certain type?
We rented one of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokees over Christmas weekend (driving across State, we like to keep the miles off our cars) and it was beautifully brilliant (interior reminded me of an Audi, very well built). The new Jeep, however, has terrible blind spots. I almost got into two accidents merging onto interstates. The B pillar completely masks the driver’s side blind spot when you look back. Other than that, I almost think this Jeep was as good as my wife’s 2009 Porsche Cayenne for about half the price.
She’s fine, thanks for asking. We haven’t had any accidents in a long time (12 yrs for her, about 19 years for me)
She likes the higher seating position that an SUV has, but (for us) the cost of a Jeep GC would be a bit out of reach. Looking to spend $25K or less.
