Here are a examples of Monsanto suing farmers for planting cross contaminated seed. They actually sue farmers who plant heirloom or organic plants that have been unknowingly contaminated by GMO pollen. When the farmer save their seed and plant them the next year, Monsanto sues them for "patent infringement".

State government tests confirm GM contamination--This farmer's organic farm tested 70% positive for GMO and his organic certification is in the process of being taken away from him. Monsanto has said they will pay the defense fees of the farmer that contaminated Marsh's farm if Marsh decides to sue them for contaminating his organic field w/ their GMO.
