I don't know about the worst, but I once gave my sister and brother-in-law

CHRISTMAS With The CHIPMUNKS

and my nieces insisted on playing it every day for 2 months.

Needless to say, my sister wanted to kill me for years!

LOL

But check out the version on YouTube which came out in 1968: Canned Heat and Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas Boogie.
It starts with the ‘monks singing their song but then Bob “The Bear” Hite jumps in: “Hold it, hold it, what are you mice doing here? This is OUR session”

Hite’s band leaps into a rock-i-fied John Lee Hooker groove
“Do the Christmas boogie!”
The Liberty label had both acts. In fact the success of
The Chipmunk song helped save the label from going under.
The Chipmunks’ names came from 3 Liberty execs: Al Bennett
(IIRC), Si Waronker, and Theodore “Ted” Keep. Waronker’s
son Lenny later became a producer.
