what is the difference between a photographic memory and and a superior autobiographical memory ?

Both are probably similar definitions - perhaps according to depth of memory ... I believe the term photographic is a older term that is not near as well descriptive as autobiographic...

I prefer the term visual cataloging memory or some derivation there of...

I believe there are people with a snap shot type of photographic memory - who may over a grocery check out counter glance at your checkbook as you are writing a check and instantly memorize everything on the check... I can’t do that unless I concentrate on it intensely ... and big holes are likely to occur even if I tried... But there are some (I believe) who can do it without much effort....
