Why aren't you doing something to stop DADT from being repealed?
Just found this article on another Web site. Even the liberals are noticing that that conservative groups have been strangely quiet since the repeal of DADT.

Excerpt:
“Ever since the Senate voted to repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell on Saturday afternoon, I have been scouring Religious Right websites trying to collect official statements that groups have released in response and have noticed that outside of a handful of groups, the vast majority of the movement has been utterly silent.
“When Judge Vaughan Walker struck down Proposition 8, Religious Right leaders were falling over one another to release statements decrying it ... but the repeal of DADT has largely yielded collective silence.”
Free Republic is a news and activist site. Most threads link to articles from another source. When you have an opinion that has not been expressed somewhere else first, FR considers it to be a vanity post, meaning no attached story.
It is a mild insult, but these posts are not only not forbidden they have their own category. This is done because some people think that the opinions of non-professionals aren’t as important. This also cuts down on starting new threads with opinions that could have been placed on other threads.

Thanks, grassboots.org, for clarifying the meaning of “vanity.” Perhaps Carly Simon should be apprised of this as well. ;)
In regard to the original post on this thread, I heard that Huckabee spoke out against DADT on Medved’s show recently. Too little too late IMO, though.
You mean spoke out against its repeal?
“You mean spoke out against its repeal?”
Mea culpa—yes, that’s what I was trying to say. At least that’s what I read on another board.
