I can kvetch...I'm a meteorologist as well.
This kind of crap always makes me really mad, because there are so many REAL rapes happening, and the victims are all too often not taken seriously. Publicity stunts like this one only make it worse.
Not to mention the police department resources being misused to prop up the ego of this stupid rhymes-with-witch.
I say, fire her, make her pay all costs associated with the investigation into her claim, and throw the book at her. Jail time would be nice, too!
