Believe it or not, this isn’t uncommon. Anytime I read of the story of the “random sexual assault” in the Wal-Mart parking lot or even in the home, I get suspicious. Not that those things don’t happen, but around here it seems like 50% of the “victims” later recant and say it was made up.

No, I don’t know why. My guess is that its some kind of cry for attention.

I know a lawyer who picked up a gorgeous young woman at the Christmas party, had sex in his apartment, he left the room for a minute and she disappeared. He’s arrested for rape and was probably destined for ruination and jail, until she left a crying message on his answering machine that she “had to” accuse him in order to explain to her boyfriend why she was missing. Nice huh? Her punishment? Absolutely zero, kept her job at the firm.
