Freeze dried cheese is awesome. Melts in enchiladas just like fresh.

An uncle (close family friend) had a Model A or a Model T. The batteries apparently worked by a crank or some such. Hed throw the connections into a pond, crank away, electrocute the fish, and feed everybody he knew.You can fish with an old crank telephone as well. These days, you could probably use a permanent magnet DC motor like a car starter motor.

I have a friend who lives in South Africa. He said that big dogs are mandatory for survival.

yep - rabbits and chickens - for meat, eggs and even fur -makes great hats and mittens They don't need a lot of pasture or big barns and lots of hay. Trade for milk/butter - or trade for raw milk and make your own butter
