Has anyone eaten moose before?. What does it tastel like, say versus deer. Figured a big critter like that would be tough meat and also tough to dress.
Caribou. Forgedaboutit! Can't stand the stuff. It tastes like a sweet liver to me.

As with all game the treatment of the meat is the limiting factor.
NEVER eat “green” Moose. Unless you like “gas”.
When properly hung and cooked Moose falls off of the bone.
Btw Moose are the largest members of the deer family.
Caribou are treasured here because they make KILLER gravy. If the libturds/yuppies ever find out the other FACT about Caribou they will be endangered.
You see caribou have absolutely ZERO calories/food value. IF you ate just Caribou you would STARVE to death.
