New Deal Confession
We Have Tried Spending Money

On the first pages of ‘New Deal or Raw Deal?’ the story of Henry Morgenthau unfolds. Morgenthau was a close friend of Franklin Roosevelt, and FDR appointed Morgenthau as Secretary of the Treasury in 1933. By 1939, the New Deal was into its seventh year, and the Great Depression continued.
On May 9, 1939, Morgenthau met with the leaders of the House Ways and Means Committee in a private meeting of Democrat leaders. Morgenthau included a transcript of the meeting in his diary, which was a hodgepodge of documents, memoranda, and diary entries that became thousands of pages by the time Morgenthau left office in 1945.
Morgenthaus diary is on microfilm at the Franklin Roosevelt Presidential Library in Hyde Park, New York. On microfilm roll #50 of the Morgenthau Diary, readers will find the transcript of Morgenthaus now-famous quote, on frame #41 from the May 9th meeting:
Now, gentlemen, we have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work.
‘When New Deal or Raw Deal?’ was first published, Morgenthaus words began to appear on many programs: Hannity, Glenn Beck, newspaper editorials.
In fact, so many people contacted the Library of Congress trying to find the source that one of the congressional librarians contacted Hillsdale College in order to track down the exact citation. Naysayers who searched only in the congressional record alledged that the quote was a fabrication. Below is a link to photocopies of the first six pages of Morgenthaus transcript from May 9, 1939. The entire meeting is over twenty pages and can be found at the FDR Library, Small Collections, Morgenthau Diary, Roll #50.

Self-inflicted poverty [Africa and Socialism]

Did you learn that the United States is rich because we have bountiful natural resources? That has to be nonsense. Africa and South America are probably the richest continents in natural resources but are home to the world’s most miserably poor people. On the other hand, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and England are poor in natural resources, but their people are among the world’s richest. [snip]

Embarrassing Economists | Walter E. Williams
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3218129/posts
“...It turns out that there’s a law in economics known as the first fundamental law of demand, to which there are no known real-world exceptions. The law states that the higher the price of something the less people will take of it and vice versa...”
“...There are economists, most notably Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman, who suggest that the law of demand applies to everything except labor prices (wages) of low-skilled workers. Krugman says that paying fast-food workers $15 an hour wouldn’t cause big companies such as McDonald’s to cut jobs. In other words, Krugman argues that raising the minimum wage doesn’t change employer behavior ...
Part of Williams’ devastating point:
“...During the 1940s and ‘50s, there were very few self-serve gasoline stations...”

Obama Admin Hiding Secret Hostage Docs Signed With Iranian Intel Officials
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3477544/posts
Wash. Free Bacon ^ | 10/6/16 | Adam Kredo
Key documents relating to the Obama administrations secret negotiations with Iran, including a $1.7 billion cash payment, are being stored at a highly secure site on Capitol Hill, preventing the public and many in Congress from accessing them, according to multiple sources who described the situation to the Washington Free Beacon.
The documents are not technically classified but are being kept in a secure reading space where the majority of congressional officials cannot access them. Those cleared are forced to relinquish their cellular devices and are barred from taking notes, undermining the ability of staffers to brief their lawmakers on the contents, according to the sources. Rush Limbaugh: From The Daily Caller. “President Barack Obama said global warming ‘contributed’ to the Syrian civil war, shifting at least some of the blame for the deadly conflict from the repressive Assad regime to people driving gas-guzzling SUVs.”

You read further: “He is the erstwhile anti-war candidate, now engaged in more theaters of war than his predecessor.” Who lauded Obama as a peacemaker? He was, remember? He was a peacemaker! “He was gonna unify us. We were gonna be postracial. We were gonna be postpolitical. We were gonna be postpartisan. The world was going to love us again!” And now Obama drones you to death if he doesn’t like you. In fact, Hillary wanted to drone Julian Assange. So Julian Assange of WikiLeaks canceled his personal appearance because he was afraid this drone was gonna get him.
Hillary says, “I don’t recall wanting to drone Julian Assange,” right? Well, you don’t recall before the grand jury, either. But the people that lauded Obama as a peacemaker are the same people who predicted Obama would bring racial harmony, the same people who predicted Obama would cut the deficit in half, the same people who said Obama’s ransom to Iran wasn’t a ransom, the same people who said the Affordable Care Act would be affordable. Ha! (chuckles)

Heres the Syrian conflict in a nutshell:
For years, Syria has been a Soviet/Russian client state. The Assad family has had close ties with Russia. The Russians supply most of Europes natural gas through several pipelines.
The Saudis havent really marketed their natural gas, but now would like to. Their natural market is Europe, and the best way to move gas is by pipeline. In order to run a pipeline to Europe, the Saudis have to run it through Syria. The Russians dont want that pipeline run because they want to keep their monopoly on natural gas supplies to Europe.
The Saudis know Assad will not assent to the pipeline across Syrian territory to please Russia, so to get the pipeline for the Saudis, Assad has to go. So the Saudis, with our knowledge and support, gin up the uprising against Assad to topple his regime. Part of the uprising is the creation of ISIS, which like most of Frankensteins monsters, gets a life of its own and goes out of control. The Russians prop up Assad in the uprising to block the Saudi pipeline. The Saudis double down by having us come in to do their fighting for them.
Our opposition to ISIS is only token; we are really being prodded by the Saudis to act against Assad. The Russians are putting their people there to checkmate our move. So were just being played for suckers in a money deal between the Russians and Saudis. And thats the Syria deal.

You wrote:
“John Kerry now has US intelligence supplying SIGINT to ISIS”
That sounds well-informed. I’ve been reading some Middle East history lately and learned that we shared intel with Iran and Iraq both. I recall reading that word, ‘sigint’.
So people might think it’s far fetched, but Reagan also shared intel with ‘bad partners’.
Quoting you here:
ISIS is a Clinton/McCain black op and is run out of the US State Department. They are the foreign policy establishments proxy to wage the dirty/covert war on Syria that was soundly rejected by the people when first proposed.
They were created, armed, funded and trained by State under Clinton - Syria was next on her list after Libya. These policies were the direct result of millions in contributions from the Saudis and other Islamic dictatorships to the Clinton Foundation.
Today, John Kerry now has US intelligence supplying SIGINT to ISIS and the USAF acting as ISIS airforce.
The State Department has explicitly threatened Russia with terrorist attacks, making it as clear as day that State controls ISIS and always has.
— thoughtomator
Reagan never supplied SIGINT (signals intelligence) to any nation or organization that the US was officially at war with.
It might seem like a fine line, but that’s the line between a mere covert op and outright treason.
ISIS is, after all, the present-day excuse as to why we’re still on war footing (and can expect to perpetually be so).
I might show some info after the election about Reagan, but no specifics right now.
Point is — this kind of thing seems very believable to me.
