God created some of these cats and perhaps most all cats to somehow trap body heat from escaping... IE otters in cold waters, seals have layers of fat, Whales have layers of fat. Otters trap air in their fur.
A miracle of sorts. God His wonders to create are in us and all around us and like air taken for granted and given little or no thought. MO.
Praise the LORD!
There is a cat I have been feeding, and attempting to protect from coyote or Fox that have come into town.. I know never feed a stray cat. Any way I made him a bed with a rug in a large covered litter box a neighbor discarded, and surrounded it with pine needles and last night heated a brick and wrapped it in a towel and put it inside his igloo. I already have 3 cats so I really do not want another. He needed help after being in a cat fight so I took him to the Vet. and healed him after a couple of weeks and did get him shots. There are so many animals now at all the SPCA and no kill places, they have no more room. I have compassion for their plight.

(Did you miss all the BIRTHDAY greetings you got last week, by any chance?)
I saw them, but was so involved in the posting of the new books to lulu.com and Amazon Kindle store and Createspace.
I was pooped! some 16 hour days with making new bookcovers and convering manuscripts to html and proofing them.
As for the cornfritters, a wonderful change of pace to the usual breakfast, and tasty!

Marissa thanks you, Polly.
I’m sure now that she did her first one, she will insist on making others. Guess that I need to show her more options. I may never get my computer back if I do that. LOL

Ok, your breakfast is on your table, and coffee and juice in separate carafes so you have as much as you want.
A love seat by the fireplace, now that does sound good!

Good thing we live in Texas where it’s not that cold for THAT long, huh! It’s a bit chillier than I like and thank
goodness I am off today and can stay in.
When it snows, I call work and stay home. I have a 20-mile
drive and I am just not going to do that with snow and the
crazies on the slippery roads! No way! :)

Yes..At least here in Texas we do get breaks from the cold.

Good Monday Morning, Jaycee.
Brrr ... that cat doesn't look cold but looking at it makes me cold.
Our weather has warmed a little. We had rain yesterday.
It's 10:30 here and the temp is 55 deg.
Hope you stocked up on chocolate. :)
I bought some Hershey minatures and tried to hide them.
Marissa will find them eventually ... she knows that the treats I share are someplace in this house.
LOL
Have a delightful day.

Dropping in for a second before I vacuum some more! My temp has risen to 25 degrees....brrrr! I have to work to get warm...LOL!
Thanks for the darling little bird in the snow. I’ve been seeing a lot of redbirds in my nandina bush which is loaded with red berries now! Too cold to get pictures.
I still have some Hershey’s miniatures, too! Last night I had vanilla ice cream with coke poured on it for a soda...even though it was cold! It was so good!
Have a great day, Amy! Should we send birthday wishes to Marissa tomorrow??? Getting busy now!

Let us look to the LORD , He is the source and the fountain of life. He watches us daily. Do we ask as we go about our day, will this act glorify God? Do we desire to show our love to God? Every day? If not why not?

Marissa would love to get birhtday wishes.
She enjoyed all of the cards posted to her last year. If you ping PrissyMissy, she can view them on her computer. I think she remembers how to log in.
The ice cream soda sounds great. I try to keep ice cream in my freezer. I eat it year-round.

Good morning, Meg. Thank you for the Snow Dancing tigers.
Hope you are having a good Monday.
Things are going pretty good here.
I'm trying to finish up a few things around the house, plus
I need to go to Amazon and do more Christmas shopping.
The advantage to buying electronics is I can get most at Amazon for a not bad price.
Wishing you a Fabulous Monday.
