1. Was sending a human to the Moon a good thing?

Yes, it was a worthy goal for the United States to shoot for - and resulted in many innovations.

2. Should NASA build a space station as part of an international project with other countries?

No. Given that the United States is footing almost the entire cost any way, we should do it ourselves.

3. Do you think NASA should send astronauts to Mars?

Yes, this is also an exciting and worthwhile goal for the U.S. to undertake.

4. Was sending a chimpanzee to space a good idea?

Yes, at the time this was done the U.S. was fully engaged in the Cold War and needed to proceed with it's own manned space flight program. Sending Ham on a sub orbital flight prior to Alan Shepard's sub orbital flight and then Enos into orbit prior to John Glenn's orbital flight were necessary steps in that program.

5. Is ending the Space Shuttle program a good idea?

Yes and no. Yes because the Shuttle fleet is past due to be retired. No because it was short sighted not to have a replacement in place prior to shutting doen Shuttle flights.
