According to my priest friend in Ethiopia, it’s not going to be Christmas there until January 7, and I don’t think January 7 in Ethiopia is the same day as January 7 here.

Christmas might be on the 6th there? Orthodox maybe?

He definitely said the 7th. Father Negasi is Roman Catholic, but the majority of Ethiopian Christians are Ethiopian Orthodox. They might have a different date for Christmas from the Catholics!

He’s a sweet young man; I put him through seminary.
