“Do you agree with an illegal aliens working in the US with fraudulent documents?” First off, as a student, you need to get the whole singular/plural thing worked out. No, illegals should not work here illegally with fraudulent documents, especially those stolen from others. An illegal once stole my billfold and ID, using it to secure employment in Arizona, and then using it to get credit he never paid off.
“Would you favor giving illegal immigrants an opportunity to process their papers in order to legalized their stay in the country?” Sure, once they have been returned to their home country where those papers should be processed. That goes with the caveat that anyone who enters this country illegally should never be allowed to have US citizenship.
“If you were the president, what would you do to solve the problem of illegal immigration?” First off, if I were this president, I would resign. But, me being me, I would would hope to have a Congress that would work with me on making life tougher on those who hire illegals. That would include making it more difficult to hire illegals. It’s the option very few people want to deal with, but the one that brings a dramatic and immediate results. I would work with Congress to pass a law that would bar all illegals from receiving any kind of federal or state assistance, including food stamps, education, housing, job assistance, and anything but genuine emergency, medical assistance. I would work with Congress to create harsh federal penalties for illegals who further break our laws, like drunk driving, rape, theft, murder, drug dealing, all the usual things that fill our prisons with illegals. I would also bill the home countries for the expense of incarcerating their citizens. I would also ask for a law that would allow the US to apply the same standards towards illegals here as their home countries apply towards illegal immigrants and Americans in general. That would shut Mexico up. ...There is so much more, but nothing is going to happen until the American people and our worthless politicians wake up from our long PC, multicultural fantasy. Enjoy.
