My granddaughter is carrying twins, and having a great deal of trouble. She is six months along, in the hospital far from home, and having difficulty with this, her first pregnancy. The dad is there, and we could all use some divine intervention on their behalf. Please join me in prayer for the health of my granddaughter and my great-granddaughters. Thanks.
Lord, we are agreeing in prayer for Roseanna and the twins. May everything be done for them that will assure a safe and perfect delivery at the appointed time. Thank you dear Lord, in whose Name we pray. Amen
Prayers up for your Grandaughter, the babies, and all the family.
Great news!
My mom who is almost 70 was a twin. My grandmother had no idea she was having twins....after my Mom was born, nice and big, the nurse noticed that it looked like another baby was crowning....out came my Uncle....About half her size...the doctor and my Grandmother were shocked, LOL!
Thanks, WV Nan! May God Bless you and yours!
Thanks, baseballmom! May God Bless you and yours as well!
Prayers lifted for health and healing for all of you.
Jane
My best to all three, Joe, and for you as well. I will be praying for you all and know the Lord will get you through this.

Done.
Thanks for the better news update and the ping. We’ll continue the prayers and look for updates as they come.
I am *very* glad to hear she and the babies are doing better! It sounds like they have TTTS (Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome). You might be interested in the website for the national foundation for that, at http://www.tttsfoundation.org/. I have not read through their website so I can’t vouch for it, but it says they offer assistance of various kinds to families dealing with this. Might be worth a look.
FWIW, when I was verrrrrrrrry pregnant with our twins, and I would go into contractions at the drop of a hat, I found that keeping VERY hydrated warded off the contractions. (Of course that meant I really could not go far from a bathroom, but since I was spending most of my time in bed anyway that didn’t matter.) Seriously, I would drink 16 oz of water just before bed at about midnight, wake two hours later for potty call and then drink another 16 oz before I went to bed again, wake up again about 5 a.m. to repeat the performance. I grew to LOATHE water!!! But it really kept the contractions away. You might mention this to her as something to try.
Still keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers! Hope the procedure goes very well.
Adding my prayers to all those above for your daughter and her twins.
May the Lord hold them all in the palm of His hand until the babies are both big and strong enough to be born.
Special prayers to St. Jude, St. Gerard, and Blessed Gianna, patron saints of women with difficult pregnancies.
Dear Holy Saints, carry this petition before the throne of the Almighty Father, and ask him to grant anything this family needs. Amen.
I meant your graddaughter...but God knows who I meant!
Something similar may be happening here...one of the babies is larger than the other. Both are girls, though, and in these days of ultrasound imaging, there is a lot less guesswork...and fewer surprises!
Mrs. Joe just got back, and the hydration therapy is working too (not just water, but juice, too). They (mom and dad and the twins) are on their way to Texas in the morning, to one of the doctors listed on the website for the laser procedure.
Thank you Palladin, for your prayers! (Yes, He knows who you meant!) May God Bless you and yours!
Good, sounds like they are in very good hands! One last note and then I’ll quit bending your ear. She should be wary of too much juice, since you can develop gestational diabetes late in pregnancy (or early, as I did — no fun!! No extra sugar for most of my pregnancy). And the diabetes can pop up rather suddenly (though I’m sure they are giving her pee tests every time she turns around, what with the other things going on). Best to water down the juice or not drink too much of it.
Again, very best wishes and prayers. Please update us.
Thank you again! I will keep you updated—and pass on the warning about too much juice. God Bless you and yours!
