Trivia: Back in the day (1930s), the studios got Hollywood to impose a yearly license fee ($125, iirc) on talent agents.

The agents simply relocated to West Hollywood.

One studio went so far as to move the ground floor windows up in the executive building so as not to have to deal with agents sticking their heads in open windows.
