Nope, 'fraid not. He did NOT "stand strong on the Gulf Shore". His actions were weaker than his words. All he did was bitch, bitch, bitch about how the feds wouldn't let him build the sand berms. A "real" leader would have built the berms and told the feds to go have sex with themselves. There was plenty of heavy construction equipment in the La National Guard. He should have called them up, and recruited anybody with a bulldozer who wanted to show up. Borrow the money if necessary.
IMO, Jindal blew the "Gulf Oil Spill" thing very badly. I once thought he might be presidential material, but after his performance in that situation....no longer.

Bobby can be part of the Republican team - he has value — but higher level leadership than Governor - no way ... maybe U.S. House - (wasn’t he already there...) anyway ... no big loss...
