Maybe just a suspension, I hope.

The problem with PugetSound was that he made a lot of personal attacks. That is not the defining quality of a FReeper. Argue about a subject all you want. But personal attacks are beyond the pale.

Beyond peradventure, Puget was too self righteous about his anti-Apple convictions, and it definitely led him into ad hominem territory more than once.

Bill Cosby once gave it out that he asked a user what he liked about cocaine and was told:

"It intensifies your personality."

Cosby said that he replied,

"Yeah - but what if you're an A$$hole!"

And that, of course, is the human condition. We're constantly trying not to be an A$$hole, and all too readily fail - but when we are being one, we usually do not know it.

He was given more than enough time to change his ways.

I certainly wouldn't want to debate that.
