Hey, FAA said there were no aircraft (that means airplanes) in that area. What does that tell you?

I’m embarrassed for you.
I doubt the FAA said that. I think the writer is mistaken.
You cite the World Socialist Website for a source? I guess I missed the sarcasm tag...
And there was a flight in that area at the time.

This is getting as weird as moon landing conspiracy nonsense.
It's an aircraft contrail.
I'm a private pilot that has flown off and on all over SoCal since the mid eighties, LA airspace and Catalina island included. Suffice it to say I am well versed in observing the weather around here and many actual rocket launches out of Vandenberg. I am also an aerospace nut with eyes skyward at humdrum aicraft when everyone else could care less. I've seen this kind of phenonmenon before.Believe me I know, it can look like a rocket, I too have looked twice at such things before. I'm not in a pissing contest here, it's just overwhelming now it's an aircraft contrail illusion.

Really?

U.S. Air flight 808 from Hawaii to Phoenix.
There was even a picture posted of the contrail of the same flight a day later.
