First, I question your premise that we won’t be around long enough to enjoy our technology, please provide some proof of that (other than Al Gore). In addition, define “the land of idiots”. I don’t really know what you mean by that. Compared to what?
Of course some animals “will not produce unless there is enough food”. Nothing can produce without enough raw materials. It’s not because they are smart, it’s because the system is set up that way. Can you build a car without parts?
