What do you mean, "abuse that adults can't even take"?

American adults don't have to "take" any abuse, including fat folks who are ridiculed (overtly or covertly) for being fat. They can choose to be offended and made miserable by it, and to go through life expecting the world to adapt to THEM instead of the other way around. It's a choice.

Or THEY can adapt to the world. Either they choose the path of "water off a duck's back," like Chris Farley or Oliver Hardy, or they can take responsiblity for themselves, change some behaviors, and cease to be fat.

A 10-year-old kid who learns to understand and embrace the power of taking responsibility for oneself to do the adapting instead of expecting others to adapt, is a kid aimed toward success no matter what lies in his or her past.

I mean that if we went to work or school as adults, we would not be required to tolerate teasing, taunts, insults, or ridicule.

Lawsuit for “hostile workplace enviornment” or “emotional stress” Oh yea..it happens at workplaces.

Now at school, the kids just take guns to school and shoot up the place. Then again, some adults do that too.
