My son is aboard the Iwo Jima, he says this is pretty common stuff. Told me they were out in the Atlantic when the wind was whipping up and a chopper kept trying to make it down. Spun around all over and danced a couple of times. He said when it was all over they had to go inside and sit down for a while just to calm down.
Boy, I bet it makes a person think twice about wanting to fly one of those whirly birds.
