That means approx. 29/30 babies born to women at this age do NOT have Down's. If MO is not in menopause, she'll should have eggs to try IVF procedures...there are also procedures to determine if the embryo has the genes for Down's, they'd be able to figure out ahead of time whether or not to replace the embryo and hope for implantation/pregnancy.
Never can tell unless they try. Fertility procedures can help, but they are a crapshoot. There is no guaranteed procedure to get pregnant. If there was, fertility doctors would go out of business.
