A quick side note on that.
OK, first, from a credentials standpoint, I have a MSME with a heavy emphasis on heat transfer, fluid mechanics, diffusion processes and thermodynamics. No, I’m not a “climate scientist”. And yes, I have a more than basic understanding of the thermophysical happenings that are at the core of “weather”. Probably much better than a large percentage of these so-called climate scientists.
With that said, the idea that these fools think they can predict what is going to happen years, let alone decades, let alone centuries, let alone millenia, in the future, based on the increase of what is now and will be, no matter what we do, a trace gas, is so absurd that anyone with half a brain should immediately stop listening to them now. The physical processes involved are just that complicated, that it’s like trying to predict exactly where in Northern Europe / the Arctic a rubber duckie released in the Gulf Stream off of the tip of Florida will end up. Only 10X, or 100X, or 10^9X harder.
We don’t even have good temperature data to tell what has happened in the recent or distant past, is happening, nor accurate models that can predict the past, let alone predict the future. And yet these people think we should give government untold new taxation powers to ultimately remove key sources of energy that make our civilization run, based on that!? It is pure insanity.
