I love Rush, but he shouldn't have done that. It was presumptuous, disrepectful, and in bad taste. He knew better ... he just couldn't resist. I mean, I love Thomas Sowell, deeply and truly, but if I met him I wouldn't presume to give him a lip-lock, not even if he was still a young hunk! I STILL feel bad about the time when I was close enough to Count Basie backstage at a concert once to give him a kiss ... and I did, uninvited. Later I realized how extremely presumptuous it was of me, and I regret it.
Rush not only should have known better, he DID know better. I guess it's kind of nice to know that even a great guy like Rush makes the same kinds of mistakes I do.
