No matter what her politics are, by being outwardly antagonistic to conservatives, she has just alienated half her fan base. Is that necessary? Does that endear her more to her “Hollywood friends”? I think that’s the key even if she didn’t care one whit about politics, it’s popular to bash conservatives in Hollywood and maybe she needs to think she’s popular.

That’s exactly how I feel. The comment she made on twitter about hating the Tea Partiers was what first really shocked me. She was trying to impress her screenwriter friend Jhoni Marchinko, a left wing activist. She might as well have dissed the 24 fans as well. It’s one thing to make fun of Sarah Palin but to claim she HATES the Tea Party, means she hates you and me. She hates her fans and she hates ordinary Americans. A real shame.
