Perhaps some guy had the idea of people being able to communicate in such a manner long before it was ever realized and staged the shot. Yet it is so arcane and out of place, and so minute that to even fake such a thing for some obscure idea is ridiculous.
I will say he/she (and it's clearly dressed as a dumpy, obese, elderly female wearing size 14 shoes) does in deed seem to be talking and talking INTO some device which is clearly being held up to her ear for convenience. Very bizarre.
That is true. Those implants they put in people are about the size of a grain of sand, and yet they communicate back to the mother ship.
