Agree, badge of honor. I beat them to the punch by deleting ALL of my former school mates from the sixties — apparently they have all become leftists over time but then, we WERE in CA back in the day so I guess they could not resist the leftist teachings even so long ago. Somehow I came out of it unscathed and ‘on the right.’

I hear that a few of the UNfriended ones are a little miffed, but too bad — they are not now nor were they ever really FRIENDS, but classmates. I have taken on more FB like-minded ‘friends’ now and enjoy daily comments with many about all the topics posted.

I had to block one of my old high school friends for all the idiotic postings he kept putting on his wall. An actual post:

"Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh r all trying too drive this country back to the days of Jim Crowe.....Better known as the "tea party" Don't be fooled people cast your vote in November. Don't be silent and sit on the the sidelines."

I just got tired of arguing with him all the time. He simply refused to listen to logic.

Another classmate "defriended" me because she couldn't tolerate the truth about Obamacare. She kept drinking the Kool Aid.
