The propositions and politicians are easy to decide on. These judges are far more insidious and secretive.

Look to see who is backing or endorsing them.

Google is also a source.

Poochigian ran against Jerry Brown in 06. I don’t know about the other names on that list.

You will be wise to vote “No” on all judges unless you know them or of them personally. The reason we have so many bad judges and they stay on the bench for their entire lives, is people go into the voting booth knowing nothing about them and vote “yes.” To do that is beyond stupid.

And any other elections and items on the ballot you know nothing about it is best to leave them blank.

Before the 2000 election debacle in Florida, I was under the impression I had to make a choice on every single item on the ballot. Because of all those hanging chads and certain people trying to imply a vote when none was there, I learned a lot about how to vote.

I must have made some terrible mistakes before that time but I try not to think about it. Now, if I don’t know, I either leave it blank or vote no (which is usually a safe vote—not always, but usually). Like right now, I know nothing about any of the city council members so I’m leaving that blank unless I learn something in the next couple weeks.

We’re all in the same boat.

Yes indeed, especially since the "plan" is to destroy American Constitutional government by way of the judiciary. It's succeeding quite well to this point.

I have the same question. Does anyone have input on the following: Robert M. Mallano, Victoria G. Chaney, Jeffrey W. Johnson, Judith M. Ashmann, Walter Croskey, Steven Suzukawa, Orville "Jack" Armstrong, Paul H. Coffee, Steven Z. Perren, Laurie D. Zelon, Frank Y. Jackson, Tricia A. Bigelow or Elizabeth Annette Grimes?

These are terribly important offices and I can find almost nothing about these judicial candidates.

No to Carlos Moreno.

Moreno voted to overturn Prop 22 (traditional marriage statute) and was the only CA SC justice to vote against Prop 8 (traditional marriage amendment). IIRC, he also is weak on the 2nd amendment.

One site I found with recommendations was
http://governmentforthepeople.us/2010_General_Election.html
I am not familiar with that site, and you may or may not agree with their reasoning (there's very little information on most of the judges).
