Conspiracy Theory…A small group of very powerful, wise, and patriotic men sees the creeping evil afoot in the world. They are helpless to directly stop the drift to socialism and the rise of Islam. They try to give the warning call over the decades, but they are marginalized by the media and ignored by a self indulgent world. So they use the enemy to defeat themselves. They know the passion for individual liberty and personal freedom is so basic to the spirit of man that it will eventually triumph. They lull the enemy into thinking now is the time to strike. They secretly aid the enemy. Sometimes not so secretly. As a result, the enemies launch premature attacks. The Marists select a puppet leader with a charismatic veneer but not enough gravitas to command respect. They attack with him as the leader, overextend their spearhead, expose the weakness of their ideology and are swept from power from all the major governments of the world where they burrow away in their lairs to lick their wounds and whimper. The added bonus is the Awaken World is now pissed! A fact the Islamist fails to realize. They continue with a few major attacks against the major cities of the free world killing women and children in the name of their god. They are crushed, destroyed, their moon temples and mosque razed to the ground, their imam’s flesh stripped from their bones and fed to the pigs. Mecca and Medina are smoldering glass slag. The RINOs throw off their disguise and step forward for adulation. NAW!
Seriously, from the nay-sayers here to the pollyannas, I have a warning: history is all over the place, neither linear nor cyclical. There is nothing to prevent the USA from slipping into the equivalent of the Muslim dark ages; and there is nothing to prevent a massive revival of patriotism and Christianity such as the world has never seen.
