YES! I’ve been waiting for the trailer. And hey, naysayers, give it a chance. I’m a fan of the original True Grit. It’s a seriously gutsy choice for a remake. Love the Coen bros. I think Bridges is a good choice. Supposedly there version is closer to the book. Glad to see the Western still alive. Rock on Coen Bros!

Publicists always say the new version is “closer to the book” and better than the original. But as a major fan of the book and the film, I can assure you that the original film is very close to the book. Will Rooster still have his Chinese cook or is that too politically incorrect, lol!?
