EVERYTHING that we are taught needs to be tested through the lens of Scripture.

Exactly, Therefore if a "christian" religious institution says Israel is not important since the church took it's place, or Mary is sinless. We need to examine this though the whole counsel of scripture.

If we just seek the truth in scripture and listen for the still small voice of the Holy Spirit and not the noise caused by our pre conceived "boxed in" notions, we get neat light bulb revelations from Our Lord Jesus Christ.

In my personal case it took me from an amill, replacement theology, pharisaic anti Semite, to the dispy, humble(LOL), Israel loving person I am today. Change is GOOD! Growth comes form change.

I am more confused with your response now than I was before. At the beginning of the discussion I was making the point that when it came to the belief in aliens from other planets that I see NO support for this idea in the Scriptures and that I do not accept the "evidence"...that I have maintained all along that it is a deception from Satan...and as such I have no fear of these “ET’s”. The response that I received from you in post 601 was: “Your world view seems sort of comfortable and ‘boxed in’”. My response was that since I was basing my belief on Scripture that the comfort you noticed was actually peace.

You then quote a Scripture and tell me about how you were taught wrongly about this Scripture...I would again say that the “pre conceived boxed in notions” did not start with the Scripture but with what others added to it...

Are you now agreeing with me? If the "boxed in notion" starts from Scripture, shouldn't we gladly be "boxed in"?
