There is internal conflict to much of what Dr. Greer says. For example, take the following two statements:

• While ETI observation and interaction with Earth is probably an ancient as opposed to purely modern phenomenon...

• [Intent centers around...] Careful interaction with humans to convey certain information about themselves and to accustom humans to their presence

If the ET's have been here since ancient times, why are they still conveying information about themselves and still trying to accustom humans to their presence. This doesn't pass the smell test.

Their continued elusiveness isn't due to conditioning us to their presence. That could have been accomplished in a couple of generations.

This is reminiscent of Obama's statement about wearing his birth cert on his forehead. These ET's are elusive for reasons having to do with their goals...not because humans are being conditioned to accept them.

I think they're aging us like good single malt scotch...waiting til we're ripe enough to serve for dinner!

I think we're just another meal in their game preserve. They pretty much leave us to our own devices and intervene only to prevent us from really messing it up with a nuclear exchange, hence the little bugs track record of disabling ICBMs on either side.
