So a 100% devotion to following God based upon His Word and His Word alone is now signs of a mental disorder...fine. That should come in handy as satan takes more control...just lock up the Christians in the mental wards.

9. Sorry but your diagnosis is wrong, even with your training.

8. I find it very interesting that I am the one that is now being targeted by those on your ping list. I answer one of them and now you feel the need to jump back in. I mentioned several times during our discussion that yes we agree on 99% that the ET’s are fallen angels/demons but that I disagreed on the 1% chance that you hold to that they could be from another planet...a point that you have said repeatedly that it did not matter but still continued to argue that point. So if I am understanding you and the others correctly...unless I agree with you 100% that ET’s could be from another planet then I have a mental disorder, but if you keep coming back to disagree with me about this same point (that YOU said was not an issue) then you are in the position to diagnosis me with a mental disorder...interesting concept. Start a conversation and if anybody disagrees with you then call them a name or attach some stigma to them...

This is just getting to weird...good bye.

What an
UNMITIGATEDLY FALSE
allegation!
I've not said
ANYTHING OF THE KIND!
I CONSISTENTLY SAY
THE OPPOSITE!
GROPE! GROPE!

As long as God gives me grace, ability and opportunity, I shall continue to refute and confront such outrageously false slams, accusations, allegations. Sheesh!

1. I don't personally like that many labels in terms of DSM IV etc. etc. etc.I guess they are useful for insurance and the criminal justice system as shorthand. I don't think they capture individuals all that reliably except as approximations and short-hand for approximations.

2. I suppose one can call perfectionism a mental disorder given that it's not the healthiest ORDER. I just consider it a human flaw. I've been guilty of it and am largely past it. I've always been a poor speller but one of the reasons I'm somewhat deliberately sloppy about my spelling as a way of resisting such ancient tendencies.

3. Your responses are telling. It would be interesting to know if you are unable or unwilling to assert honestly before God that NONE of your parents, spouse, children or co-workers have ever called you a perfectionist. If you can genuinely assert that, then I'll admit that I'm WRONG. It's entirely reasonable for me TO BE WRONG about that because I made a guess, an inference on merely one bit of data--the style of your responses to me on this thread. Of course, if some of those who are close to you are also perfectionists--more than plausible--they would be unlikely to call you one! LOL. That's an out I can live with.

4. It is not an enormously crucial issue to me on this thread. It's merely an observation THAT I'D WANT MADE TO ME IF OUR ROLES WERE SWITCHED. I REALLY AM MERELY DOING UNTO OTHERS AS I'D WANT DONE TO ME. Perhaps you've ran across that value in your reading of Scripture. Making the observation affords you a chance to evaluate whether there's anything to it before God that you might take to Him in prayer and respond accordingly. Instead I get all this offended blustering. What an Impressive example of STRICTLY BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY.

5. I ASSUME that's what you gave me feedback for--TO CONSIDER something before God that might help me grow??? . . . trying hard to put the best face on it, here.

6. I'M WRONG PLENTY. I take brazenly risky stances on a lot of stuff--often based on insanely small amounts of data. However, being wrong is certainly part of being human--particularly as a bird of rare plumage. Maybe you haven't been plagued with that phenomenon of having to be human. It's just usually true that my percentage of being totally wrong is low ENOUGH that most folks benefit from the possibility that I'm right--if they are interested in growing etc.

7. GOODNESS! No. Not at all.

8. The point is that you don't seem to understand what it means to me when I say IT DOES NOT MATTER. I've spelled it out and you still insist on distorting it all out of any remote accuracy to what I mean by it. At this point, I don't care that much. Folks have had a chance to read what I really mean by it so, if they care to, they can compare what I say I mean with what you say I mean by it.

9. You seem to relentlessly insist that I say things about Scripture that I do not say. You seem to relentlessly say that I take a lower view of Scripture and the value of Scripture than is your quality of Christianity and certainly than you do. I fiercely disagree.

10. You are certainly welcome to your beliefs. You are not so welcome to assert, without challenge, that I said things and meant things I did NOT say and did NOT mean.

11. Yeah, it continues to be wierd that you still say I said things I didn't say.
