It appears the main reaction to the press conference has been a religious one. I see no responses such as I would have expected from a thread about FBI or NSA intrusions. In other words, no type of milita reaction. No “We have to prepare to defend ourselves”, etc.
I believe French scientist Jaque Vallee was one of the first solid researchers who very reluctantly came to the conclusion after years of study into the phenomena--that we were, in fact, dealing with an essentially spiritual phenomena from a 'spiritual dimension.' He's right, of course.
It appears to be the case that the powers that be have decided [there was reportedly a split the last few years between them--some for disclosure and half against--evidently they've decided to disclose--or been ordered to--or realized that the critters are going to make it a moot issue if they don't--so they'd better be at least slightly ahead of the curve before the critters beat them to it.
Therefore, the NSA/FBI types so relentlessly tasked with harrassing, intimidating and threatening to exterminate the whole extended family of whistleblowers--have been told to lay off, now--at least mostly.
No extended post related to any serious science issues, other than a couple of quick comments.
I don't think the typical scientist or even science minded layman has sufficient categories or heuristics or schemas with which to make functional sense out of all this.
Many are typically so locked into their narrow, rigic, biased tunnel vision that they are not very willing to admit that there's life outside THEIR particular tunnel view.I think many 'know' better but are not willing to face it--certainly not quite yet. They are still in some level of incredulity to shock that their paradigms & constructs may just very much no longer FIT REALITY.
And, even those who are accepting of reality or beginning to accept reality--may not yet have words and understandings to put to it all sufficient to allow them a sensible comment on a public forum.
Another interesting thing is the attribution of demonic or One World Order themes to this conference. I must of missed it, but when asked if the panel thought we should be against nukes, I only saw a couple of hands go up. Not any more percentage that I would guess you would get from any group with a military background. If the events were real, there is nothing that indicates the “aliens” were anti-nuke, only that they demonstrated they could be disarmed by them. They were not damaged. The only thing that I could conclude they were communicating is:”we are here, we can disarm your most powerful weapons.” No messages broadcast, no one heard anything said in their heads, no beings appeared, nada.
I think that's a great and perceptive observation.
However, it's also not consistent with the vast literature on the subject. The critters are ON ABUNDANT RECORD at being against nukes. There are even multiple sourced reports that they assert that our nukes somehow cause a rip in the fabric of reality that puts at some hazard the whole scheme of things and at least the stability of the multiverse in some important sense &/or the stability of their 'system' across the multiverse. Precisely what is unclear but there's repeated alarm expressed about such stuff. Who knows if it's more lies and disinformation or partially or wholly true or what.
Reportedly, the first group of critters in contact with President Ike INSISTED that we give up our nukes AND that they would NOT share technologies with us as we could not handle their technologies constructively. General Ike, of course, would not tolerate giving up our nukes and rendering us utterly helpless before an unknown very foreign ET threat.
Consequently, another group did offer to share technologies in exchange for unlimited 'rights' . . . by treaty . . . to abduct Americans at will. They agreed to a set amount and to provide the government a list of abductees and the details on each abduction to the government at the end of each year. The government later discovered with dismay that the ET's were lying and were abducting far far more than agreed to. Alas, the government was helpless to do more than whine about it.
I think the nuke issue is interesting but probably also misdirection or at least far from the whole story. It may well be part of the threat/coercian to press the world's citizens into a global government--to avoid or lessen--say after a partial world nuclear war--to press the world into the global government for the survival of the species and the planet.
I was told by a fellow Navyman in 1971 that we had 11 DIFFERENT weapons systems--EACH ONE OF WHICH WAS MORE AWESOME AND DEVASTATING THAN NUKES.
I think they will be playing the nuke angle for a variety of reasons. Clearly they are on abundant record as being dead set against nukes. Certainly they can neutralize our nukes in a list of ways. Incidentally, they have also provided technology which makes nuclear waste a minor problem no greater than conventional waste.
BTW, when I say "They have, they do, they say. . ." etc. I mean that I have read sufficient diverse sourced convincing materials and listened to sufficient convincing testimony that I believe such to be true.
Even if you bring in abductions I don’t see any “messages” related to them. Most are related as: They took me. They proded and poked me. They took samples of me. They made me forget it. They “said it wouldn’t hurt but it did”. They did not seem to really care one way or the other. I don’t get where all the evil and demon stuff comes from until you start getting into the accounts of some who frankly seem to be off the deep end anyway.

There's one case where the husband wakes up a bit with his sleeping wife next to him--he wakes up enough to see a typical grey materializing at the end of his bed. Inexplicably he falls back asleep--only to wake up evidently shortly--hoisted up in the air some distance with a big stiff probe up his rear.
In great terror he remembers something from Sunday School long ago and shouts out something like IN THE NAME OF JESUS STOP THAT--GET AWAY FROM ME--and the probe is withdrawn so rapidly that he falls back to his bed waking his wife--and the critters have disappeared.
Guy has documented that in every case where a purported authentic Christian has been abducted, there has been some dabbling in the occult which gave the enemy's forces some sort of spiritually legal entre into their lives. This is true of . . . was it the Cortile case? I forget the name--a purportedly famous case of a purportedly authentic Christian. It turns out, she'd assented to an occultic interpretation of reality early on.
So I guess my final question would be. If there are really other intelligent life forms out there that are simply God’s creatures just as we are, only more technically advanced that have traveled here, how are they to make themselves known without being branded devils and demons? We cannot believe anything they say since the first assumption is they are liars.
No! It is NOT mere assumption that they are liars. Even military generals etc. and a long list of whistleblowers have asserted for decades that the critters chronically LIE, LIE, LIE. . . . in addition to breaking treaties.
They have persistently made paredictions to government officials that this or that grand catastrophic event or some other dramatic event would happen within a set time or on a set day--with nothing whatsoever occurring consistent with said ET predictions.
One of the most consistent things about the critters is that they LIE--they lie to the government and to their abductees. Big surprise. Their boss is the father of lies.
One of the shocking brazenly horrific examples of supreme stupidity--is that--even though the globalist puppet masters know that the critters chronically lie--THEY STILL BELIEVE AND OBEY THEM ABOUT NEEDING TO EXTERMINATE ALL BUT 200 MILLION OF EARTH'S CITIZENS IN ORDER TO SAVE HUMANITY AND THE PLANET. WHAT TREASONOUS STUPIDITY!
