Amen! Thank you oh so very much for your testimony, dear brother in Christ, and thank you for your encouragements!

I have thought of a metaphor to explain what is the spiritual component of humankind. When telephones were invented they were plugged into an electrical circuitry for power. If unplugged form the electron circuit they cease to be a telephone/information transceiver.

Humans prior to Adam are like that invented phone system. Then, along came battery powered phones! And these can operate off of electron circuit--direct current or alternating current--or battery, if the battery is 'charged'. The battery power is a sort of earnest of our inheritance in Christ, the 'but a smidgen' presence of the Holy Spirit in our human spirit.

Adam was created to have the physical apparatus AND a 'device' which could communicate with The Almighty, via the human spirit. Prior to Adam, men were just as the rest of living things, without a spirit component--the battery in the portable phone, which when without electron reserve is dead to the communication device, but with power from the source, alive in communication at the spirit level.

BTW, you can remove the battery pack from phones that have them and though the device in which they functioned may be no longer there, the charge remains. The battery is the human/Adam component we inherited being descended from Adam and Eve. That component continues 'whether in a device or not'.

When I was about two, a little voice said in my head that the water-filled 'canvas bucket' I was investigating would be important later on so I should take note of this thing. I suppose a canvas bucket is more suited as metaphor for a two year old, but the battery powered cell phones seem to be a more intense one to me as an aging pseudo-mystic.
