I (and at least one other long time FReeper) made a simple request. A gentleman would simply graciously acknowledge and comply with the request.

I don’t think I ever had the delusion that you considered me a gentleman any more than I ever had the delusion that you acted like one.
Maybe I could have put it better this way . . . that I’ll TRY and alert wives if there are such known . . . whenever I have an urge to seek a petulant hubby’s perspective . . . so they can talk me out of it, first.
