So are we dealing with at least 2 mysterious missile launches, separated by 24 hours? Or are we dealing with a regularly scheduled commercial flight?
Here's what something that can generate and maintain an 8+ minute boost phase looks like. Of course, that's the Space Shuttle. You'll notice the ascent speed difference.
But the vehicle that made that contrail didn't boost for 8 minutes. In fact, if it was a missile, it must have kicked in an anti-gravity drive, because the booster stops but the vehicle keeps making progress:
Either that, or it's a dispersing vapor trail left by a commercial jet. Which it was.
