He may be brilliant, but he is talking about a subject he knows very little about. I am a Christian and read & study the Bible daily. But also practice yoga and work with people going through spiritual psychoses on a regular basis. I’ve been studying the kundalini process associated with yoga for about twenty years and have found it very similar to the experiences described by St. Theresa of Avila in her book “The Interior Castle,” where she outlines the spiritual awakening process.
I will read some of Dr. Mohler’s information and reserve judgement on the rest until then. Thank you for your defense of him as I am always looking for excellent Bible scholars.
I know Dr Mohler personally, and seriously doubt he hasn’t studied the subject in great detail. I believe he reads several whole books a week, and retains what he reads. One of the brightest men I’ve ever met. He has a climate controlled library in his basement and just loves to study. You may not always agree with him. But the more you read what he has to say you’ll have to respect him.
