how interesting-i’ve just been reading about Hadrian’s Wall-
There was at least a 50% chance you did it.... Look at the evidence, You were either there or you weren’t .... and that my friend is 50/50. It’s just simple math.
Bush did it.
Why can't people write the date correctly? It's AD367 ....
I thought it was now 367 CE
Cold case file.

The garrison of Hadrian’s Wall rebelled in 367 allying with Saxons and Goths.
This is hugh and series! I think he’s prolly guilty. So, Question Liberal Authority, what do you have to say for yourself? :)
Different groups put their own take .... they now call it ‘the common era’ and ‘before the common era’ ... question is: what is the common era? It’s their way of not recognizing Jesus .... whatever they call it they’re denying Him ....
p.s. ... it’s still “Before Christ -BC” and “After Christ - AD” ....

Thanks S.H. By that time, they probably *were* Saxons and Goths. The Roman regular army (which had begun to take on more of the character of non-Roman auxiliary legions pretty early on) was withdrawn from Britain for good about forty years after this date; in the 3rd c the Roman Empire had been politically divided into a number of different independent states, including an independent Britain. This was mostly a response to the lack of orderly succession and a continuous might makes right approach to things. It’s strange to think that the Roman Empire “fell” a lot of times before it was gone even in name. Also shows that external threats were not very serious or at least not considered serious by polities — no doubt because the ethnic character of the provinces had itself changed during Roman rule.
Innocent, eh? What about this Facebook entry dated 12 Junius, AD 376? “Note to self - 20 sesterces to Marius for wine and remember to ury-bay the ody-bay.” Didn’t figure to run into a bunch of Pig Latin scholars around here, didja, Gaul boy?
We’re just going to have to start referring to you as Mr. Poirot.
Been there - it’s beautiful.
I agree, and I refuse to use it, I was being a bit facetious. It’s all very PC, and especially stupid since they still use His birth as the marking point.
