I'm sure we can outsource those careers with cheap labor from India, China, etc. Those nations have excellent aviators (snicker). There's no need for the USA to dominate and innovate in the aerospace industry anymore. No, Americans are destined to make fine Chinese slaves.

Most professionsl pilots I know are nervous about their jobs.
Unless they care to move to China or India or maybe Africa.
