How come only Christian Evangelicals get labeled as kooks for believing in the 6000 year old Earth?

Rosh Hashana occurred at the end of a week of creation that ended Year 1 in the Jewish calendar.

Yep, Rosh Hashannah corresponds with the sixth day of creation, which is the day God created man and woman.
