When I was a very young kid, the thought of a “living bra” scared the snot outta me....LOL

My mom [for sadistic reasons known only to her] bought me those horrid “bullet bras” to wear in HS in the 70s.

I was...uh...more “ample” back then and they drew a lot of unwanted attention.

I still remember the day I got to pick my own bra.

It was virtually undetectable, didn't shove stuff into everybody’s face...and it wasn't “living”.

i remember that one, too. Seriously, i wasn’t even like 8 or something & my mother & her sisters talked about the “Living Bra” and it was pointy, too. I thought the whole thing was very weird and i was still dragged along....

I don’t know if you remember these few items but they shopped at Hochshield-Kohn, Hecht’s , Hutzler’s & Stewart’s
Buddy’s for hats, and this one store (i’ll remember the name l8r) for shoes and tell me about shoe shopping!!! it was about to drive a person out of their mind! All these stores were down on Howard Street in Balto Md. They went to each one for differant reason’s & then Hochshield Kohn moved to Edmondson Village & Hecht’s was across the street & Hutzler’s moved to Catonsville on RT 40.....just a real brief history here ,,,,,,,,,,

It’s nice to reminice but it’s even nicer to share the memories our mothers gave us & we’re talking about them now aren’t we & imo that’s what makes them special to treasure in your heart.
