There’s no response because it didn’t happen. JimRob wouldn’t turn a blind eye to moderators deliberately pinging people to disrupt a thread. He allows the debate to happen on these threads. Why would he let his mods shut down debate?

JR - Can a moderator forget that he/she is logged in as Admin Moderator? Don’t they have an indicator telling them they’re logged on as Admin Moderator? I see “BuckeyeTexan” when I post comments. I would never mistake “BuckeyeTexan” as “Admin Moderator.” They have to see different options on their screens since they can delete comments and threads unlike regular freepers. I doubt it’s easy to confuse an administrative display with a regular display. I just don’t buy it.

Let's get real, if your goal was to completely destroy your own credibility right off the bat.. what better way than to talk about unicorns and dinosaurs. This is a joke right? Someone created a fake account in Scribd and made it look like Smith to post this? This reads like something Anonymous would write..

No, Smith's story for several months now has been that he was in Africa searching for the mythical dinosaur monster, Mokele-mbembe.

I'm not sure why this is surprising, though. There's fairly heavy crossover of Birtherism with other conspiracy theories and denialist movements.

Lucas Smith himself has revealed himself to have strong denialist attitudes towards science-based medicine. Ditto "drkate."

In addition to Smith, Ed Hale and Larry Wells are also Birther cryptozoologists, though their speciality is in Bigfoot.

Phil Berg and Linda Starr were both vocal 9/11 Truthers for years before discovering Birtherism. "Drkate" is also a Truther. Even Jerome Corsi has briefly toyed with 9/11 Trutherism.

Cort Wrotnowski, one of the original Birther plaintiffs, is avidly anti-vaccination. Orly Taitz has also occasionally veered into anti-vaccination territory.

The folks at WND have put their support behind everything from the North American Union theory and general New World Order nonsense to the Shroud of Turin and various sorts of science denialism. Joseph Farah's attempts to profit off of promoting the 'Obama is ineligible' conspiracy theory is almost identical to how he profited off of promoting the 'Vince Foster was murdered' conspiracy theory in the 1990s.

I'm not even sure I could name all the Birthers who have sovereign citizen connections, and believe in all kinds of political nonsense from gold flag fringe to the "original" 13th Amendment.

And is it even necessary to point out all the other nutty theories that Alex Jones believes in and promotes? From UFOs to 9/11 Trutherism, if it's crazy, Jones'll give it the spotlight.

Frankly, the only significant denialist belief that's *not* represented among noteworthy Birthers (to my knowledge) is Holocaust denial. (Admittedly, James von Brunn was a Birther and a Holocaust denier, but he's hardly noteworthy for his contributions to Birtherism.)
