Your first sentence is correct, if modified to "our laws of physics", as the laws in a different or previous universe would most certainly be different.
Your second sentence should be modified to "without space-time events cannot occur".
I would debate that last assertion of yours but the hour is late for me. Suffice it to say that events can occur without objects, so it is most likely--to my theory--that time expressed before space expressed in the singularity which is God's handiwork. I've pinged a couple of folks far more intelligent than I. Perhaps they would like to discuss this with you.
