Remember wars are how Americans learn geography.

Yeah, it's when we learn where our family members fought totalitarian murderers and set free millions of people in other countries from concentration camps and death squads. Thanks for pointing that out, it's important to remember that children need a context to see the importance of geography.

I did not mean it as a slam. I am serious. I know a whole lot more about the geography of the Middle East than I do about South America for example. The same can be said for Vietnam and Korea. I care a whole lot more about what is happening in Afghanistan and Iraq than Ecuador, Paraguay, or Uruguay.
