Heh, I remember when Mathews started his show. It was during the Clinton intern thingy. Back then even Mathews was suggesting Clinton should step down. Today he is merely a DNC talking fax sheet, but once there was an ounce of objectivity and morality in the guy.

On the other hand, I have listened to the Fox News coverage for the last hour and they have yet to describe this guy as “left wing”. They are simply pointing out that he is an extreme environmentalist.
They had a phone interview with Lee’s brother-in-law about an hour ago. The brother-in-law was not sympathetic to Lee in the slightest. He was chafing from Lee’s “scamming” of the family a few years back in order to obtain money from them. At one point, he stated that Lee’s grandfather, who raised him, would be in favor of “hanging him” [his words]. I hope he will be on speaking terms with his wife tonight!
About the same time the MSM digs into his political affiliation and reports he is a registered democrat.
