On The Hen Party (The View) he ACTUALLY REFERRED to himself as a MONGREL.

I kid you not.

Now, I am of mixed racial heritage. But it would NEVER occur to refer to myself in that manner! I prefer to think of myself as an Irish~Native~American~Princess!

This is a lovely graphic, Luv. And I liked Michael Buble’s version very much. I’ve seen Michael in a couple of great specials on P.B.S. He is very popular!

Awww.

Horses are Noble, Loyal, Handsome, Fine, and Wonderful!

But...Not too Bright, I’m afraid.

I am so sorry. Can’t imagine the Vet bill.

Client of mine had a Paso Fino that insisted upon leaving the paddock and sashaying up State Road 7, an eight lane super highway. The local police used to call, “Your stupid HORSE is out again!” LOL!

Well, you know how he likes to act cute! I don’t think anything he does is cute, BUT he thinks he’s just the best of everything....very cocky! One thing about him if you’ve noticed, he’s only black. He forgets he’s half-white, guess he’s ashamed of that!

There’s different types of pain. The inflamed areas need the anti-inflamatory medicines. I don’t know how to describe the sciatic nerve pain in my hip, back and leg. But it needs to be treated with the pain medication because the Aleve alone doesn’t kill the pain! Its crazy and aggravating and I get tired of it but I’ve learned to treat it so I can enjoy life to some extent. You know some pain I understand, so guess you know what I’m talking about.

I only found out about the red side of me in recent years.

Seems the family hid their heritage for economic reasons during the Great Depression, when racial prejudice was real and economic pressures could make you do anything. But my Great Grandfather Isaac was a Chief of a Clan of MiQ’Maw and his wife Salome was full blooded as well. On the other side, was French and Miq’Maw and Inuit, so I am at LEAST 35% red. BUT, (and it’s a BIG BUT) it’s CANADIAN red, so I don’t qualify for any assistance because I am an American Citizen, which I would not give up for Anything.

Sis went up to Canada, and the Tribe welcomed her back with no “Reservations” LOL. All Christians Now! hahaha!

But...Not too Bright, I’m afraid.

Unfortunately, that is true. Mules and donkeys, on the other hand, are smarter than the noble, handsome and pretty ones. :)

Yes, but we love them just the same.

Maybe BECAUSE they are a wee bit dim.

My hubby had some Cherokee in him. He was olive skinned, dark, dark eyes and hair, until he turned grey but it was beautiful grey with his skin. We were discussing his Cherokee heritage once with another couple (good friends) and I was expecting my first child so I added with a giggle “I have a little Indian in me at this time.” Many people thought he was Italian and he sure could have passed for Italian.
