I do have to wonder why you upgraded the firmware on your WRT router. Was there a specific problem that you needed to fix or was it a case of "Oh, an update, shiny...."?

I did a “firmware” update on my WRT54G a couple of years ago. Killed the router. Linksys replaced the router although it was not longer under warranty.
